Meet the team

Meet the psychologists

Elementa was founded by three HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists. We each bring different clinical experience and ways of working, and we share a commitment to care that is thoughtful, evidence-based and genuinely human.

  • Dr Abi Watkinson

    Clinical Psychologist

I’m interested in how people make sense of what has happened to them. Therapy is often about finding a version of that story you can live with.

Brings experience from adult, CAMHS and forensic services to thoughtful, collaborative work with adults.

  • Dr Laura Day

How do I know who is right for me?

You don’t need to choose. During the free 15-minute introductory call, we’ll get a sense of what you’re looking for and suggest who may be best placed to support you. If you would like to work with a particular psychologist, just let us know.

What is a Clinical Psychologist?

Clinical Psychologists complete a three-year doctorate in clinical psychology, following an undergraduate degree and further clinical experience. They are trained to assess and understand a wide range of psychological difficulties and to provide evidence-based therapy. The title is protected by law in the UK, and all Clinical Psychologists must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
